This project is a photographic chronicle of the Valley of Mexico, also known as Anahuac Valley: the broad region that included the lakes of Chalco, Xochimilco and Texcoco. The book contains around 200 photographs, taken by Santiago Arau between 2015 and 2023, in order to explore the architectural heritage of the Valley of Mexico – its geography and culture – and represent the state of said heritage at the present.
